In Italy he is called a “Grande Artista” outside Italy his art is hardly known. If i look at his paintings i can see them among other works of art from the Fifties and Sixties , but i think his use of color is far more mediterranean than others. Certainly not Pop Art , but a bit more like the later paintings by Constant. Still they are nice to look at and they deserve to be be known by far more people thanhis admirers in Italy.
