The work of Dré Devens often consists of a sparse, yet impactful, array of lines, slicing through both physical space and the space of paper. Through eliminations and subtle interventions, he dissects the space, rebuilding it as a constructivist. In doing so, he invites the viewer to a novel spatial experience.
